How likely are younger consumers to switch current account provider?

According to the soon to be published results of our Youth of Today survey, one in five  18-25 year olds is likely to switch current account provider within the next 12 months.

With only 29% of respondents saying they will definitely stay with their current provider, should traditional high street banks be doing more to fight off competition and protect their young client base?

The opening instalment of our Triple A (Actions, Attitudes & Aspirations) report series focuses on the Youth Of Today’s shopping habits, financial attitudes and behaviour, lifestyle, and travel plans.

The Financial Attitudes and Behaviours section covers:-

  • Satisfaction/Confidence with current account provider
  • Level of, and satisfaction with, savings & investments
  • Motivations for saving
  • Attitudes towards debt and credit facilities
